What are the entry requirements for Bulgaria?
Everyone age 12 and over need to show proof of full vaccination or proof of recovery from covid within the past 11-180 days or a negative PCR test result which is no more than 72 hours old
0-11 year-olds do not need to provide anything, providing they are travelling with a fully vaccinated adult.
How do I show proof of vaccination?
The NHS app is accepted as proof of vaccination in Bulgaria and across the EU.
If you cannot download the NHS app or access the NHS website, you can call 119 in the UK and ask for a letter about your vaccination status, which you will be sent by post.
How do I show proof of a negative test for entry into Bulgaria?
Self-administered NHS tests are not accepted, so you’ll need to pre-book with an approved Covid testing provider. These are available through the government’s list of approved suppliers.
Do I need to complete any forms before I go?
No forms are required for Bulgaria.

Is a covid pass needed in Bulgaria?
Adults aged 18 and over will need to show a covid pass in order to get into hotels, restaurants and bars. A covid pass is obtained through proof of vaccination, a negative test with 72 hours, or proof of recovery within the past 11-180 days.
Children under 18 don't need to show anything.
It's also important to know that restaurants will only accept groups of up to 6 people.
Are masks required?
Masks are required for all indoor public spaces and outdoor spaces where it is not possible to maintain 1.5m distance between people.
Are there any restrictions when skiing?
It hasn't yet been confirmed whether covid passports will be required to access the ski lifts, but we expect that they will be.
